TOURNAMENT INFORMATION 2008/10 Entries for all tournaments this year are required at the start of the year so please check this information carefully as late entries will not be accepted. You will notice from the calendar there are 2 dates for the U14, U16 & U18 Girls Tournaments. The first date is to encourage participation from any schools wanting to expose young people to competition hockey. This will be referred to as emerging schools. The second date is to provide an appropriate level of competition to enable us to send teams through to regional and possibly national competition. We have no objection to you entering both these tournaments, but please consider carefully how useful this would be to the development of your players. Please note that in accordance with England Hockey players are NOT able to play in more than one age group for each competition. This is to prevent the over playing of young talented players. All age groups are school years, i.e. September 1st Entry fee for all competitions is £15 per entry
